A real company with nine services and no way to see any of them
Lami Nepal is not a dating app and did not want to become one. It is a company registered under Nepali law in 2077 B.S., with matchmakers, an astrologer and vastu specialist, a legal advisor, counselors and database staff on the payroll, serving families across Nepal.
The business ran on phone calls. A family could not find out what was offered, what it cost, or who they would be speaking to without ringing the office during working hours — and the services on offer run from compatible matching and confidential counseling all the way through legal marriage, divorce process, banquet booking, pooja materials and decoration rental.
The constraints that shaped the build: the audience reads Nepali first, the majority are on low-end Android handsets, and the business closes on conversations rather than checkouts. Any design that ended in a payment button would have been wrong.

Nine services, published with prices where prices exist
Each service carries its Nepali name, its English name, a plain description and a price where the business quotes one — रु 25,000 for compatible matching, रु 5,000 for confidential counseling. The ones that are quoted per case say nothing rather than a fake 'from' figure.

Devanagari-first, not Devanagari-added
Nepali copy is the primary content with English alongside, typeset in a Devanagari face that renders correctly rather than falling back to a Latin font and breaking conjuncts. This is a rendering decision, and getting it wrong is the fastest way to look foreign to your own market.

A registration flow that ends at a matchmaker
The form feeds the matchmaking team's queue. It is a handoff, not a funnel — the enquiry arrives with a human name attached to it at the other end.

WhatsApp handoff on every surface
Six contact channels, two of them staffed WhatsApp numbers, plus office phone and the social accounts the business actually answers. Every dead end on the site is a route to a person.
